The Studium Generale is part of the Student Services Centre, a department of Maastricht University
The Studium Generale offers a programme of lectures, debates, Lecture Series, Comedy shows, Music Concerts, Theatre, Film showings. Most of the time language is not a problem to enjoy these activities.
With the lectures & Debates the Studium Generale offers programmes providing a wider experience of the arts, science and society. You will find information on the lectures in English and other activites for non-Dutch speakers at the English Agenda page.
Most of the lectures can be attended for free. For some of the activities we charge a modest admission fee.
Sometimes it is necessary to make a reservation. Make your reservation by calling 0031 (0)43 388 5 388 (mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm) or by clicking the button Reservations next to the activity on this site.
Reservations for the world music concerts (Global Culture Nights) can be made via Theater aan het Vrijthof 0031 (0)43 350 55 55, or www.theateraanhetvrijthof.nl.
